The Selangor State collaborated with Siemens Malaysia to produce a skilled workforce to meet the requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Through the collaboration, the industry and educational institutions will formulate a syllabus to meet the current needs that support Selangor’s five economic clusters, including transportation. The synergy is expected to solve the problems of industry needs. Through the collaboration, Siemens will transfer the technological knowledge to the STDC, which will train 1,000 workers annually. The collaboration is to bridge the talent gap to meet the needs of the industry in terms of IR 4.0 skills.

Strand Aerospace will help IKTISASS develop and grow the aerospace industry in Selangor but will provide an avenue for national social mobility with Selangor at the forefront where high value industries can be established which will enable Selangor to position itself as an attractive investment destination for IR4.0-enabled businesses.
